Here is a small sample of my recent drill designs.
Newtown Indoor Percussion 2024, Movement 3
In their 2024 program, "Reflection", Newtown Indoor Percussion explores the gap between who we are and who we present to the world. The program frequently features members of the ensemble exploring movement in front of mirrors. Wearing reflective masks, in movement 3 the ensemble removes the masks to embrace their true selves, with a soloist exploring the space and helping other performers remove their masks.
Connecticut Hurricanes 2023: Closer
In our program "Channel Green", the Hurricanes explored the culture of the United States in the 1960's as it was seen on TV. The closer, "Rocket Man" looks back on the excitement of the moon landing as it was unfolding live.
